It do be Spring Break

Hellooo y’all!

This week’s post is just a little update on things. Nice, short, and sweet.

First— I got published in a new magazine!! It can be downloaded for FREE here, and if you’re a young writer (ages 15-22) and are interested in submitting your work, or even if you’re just curious about this magazine, check out their website! My (very) short story “Icy Layers” can be found on page 27.

Second, it’s officially Spring Break! This semester is going by soooo fast. I feel like there’s so much more to discuss in my classes than we have time for. This feeling is absolutely crazy because I’ve always loved school, but this semester has confirmed my LOVE for learning and how much it changes things when I absolutely enjoy what I’m learning about. One of my classes is hard, I’ll admit it, but I still really enjoy learning about it. It’s just requiring some extra work because it has elements of topics that I’m not skilled in.

I don’t really have plans for Spring Break other than to get ahead on some projects and take some time to recharge. I’m super nervous but also excited for the upcoming projects in my classes, and I know I need to take advantage of the break to make progress on researching and writing drafts. It’s all on stuff I’m interested in, which helps, of course!

As always, take care of yourselves, go outside and touch some grass, and thanks for being here.

Twisted Books

A short review of three twisted books I’ve read recently.

“Make a Living”

We all have to find the little moments of joy and hope in life. I had a dream that helped inspire hope for me.
